Our 35 inviting rooms await you, nestled between lush, tropical gardens. The six bungalows, six oceanfront units, 22 superior rooms and a four-bedroom suite, are spacious, furnished with local materials and decorated with regional craftsmanship and antique Costa Rican photographs. All of them overlook exuberant tropical gardens, face towards the ocean and feature a balcony or terrace. Each room has a king-size bed with a tailor-made mosquito net for those who prefer it. Additionally, the rooms have a comfortable sitting area with a queen-sized sofa bed (except the 2 Beachfront Garden Rooms) and sliding doors to let the refreshing ocean breeze in.
All rooms have air conditioning, ceiling fans and wireless Internet access. They are equipped with a small refrigerator, coffee and tea facilities, a direct dial telephone, a safe deposit box (included in the price), an AM/FM radio and a large closet. All the bathrooms are spacious with a shower and a hair dryer.
All the rooms, except the 2 Beachfront Garden Rooms have been designed and equipped for a maximum of 3 people.

The 11 superior rooms located on the ground floor have a terrace and a spacious bathroom.
Superior Rooms Balcony
The 11 superior rooms located on the upper-level floor have a balcony and a spacious bathroom. These rooms were originally ventilated with natural air circulation, due to their elevated design. This environmentally friendly “Ocean Breeze” option can still be offered in some rooms on request.
BUNGALOWS
The 6 bungalows are individually set amongst nature. Every unit has a large private terrace with a hammock. The spacious bathrooms have a bathtub and an outside shower with hot water. Originally these units were designed to keep the inside cool through natural air circulation. If someone would like to enjoy the balmy evenings and wake up in the morning to the singing of the birds, the howl of the monkeys, and the roaring of the sea we can still offer this environmentally friendly “Ocean Breeze” option.
BEACHFRONT BUNGALOWS
While having the same design and facilities as the Bungalows, two of our bungalows have the privilege of being located directly in front of the beach. The oceanfront terrace is ideal for a romantic, private candlelit dinner.
FOUR-BEDROOM SUITE
The four-bedroom suite is located on the upper floor of the main building, above the reception and overlooks lush tropical grounds. The bedrooms have air conditioning, ceiling fans, a safe deposit box and a telephone. One bedroom has a king-size bed and access to the balcony, a private bathroom with a double sink, a bathtub and a shower. One has a queen size bed also with direct access to the balcony, and a private bathroom with a bathtub. The other two rooms have two single beds each. One of them has a bathroom with a bathtub, the other one has a double sink and a shower. As part of this unit, there is a spacious living room which, unlike the bedrooms, does not have air conditioning. Thanks to its design and the ceiling fans the inside keeps fresh through natural air circulation. The huge balcony with a hammock and lounge chairs, invites guests to relax and enjoy the tropical atmosphere.

Our cozy spa embedded in the tropical gardens provides you with the relaxing moments you are seeking. Indulge yourself with an unforgettable treatment in the hands of experts and in the midst of the lovely, natural surroundings of Hotel Capitán Suizo.
Massages on the beach are also offered to those who would like to enjoy the treatment while listening to the gentle murmur of the waves. It is quite likely that, afterwards you will be floating to the beach, feeling as light as a butterfly and enjoying a brief swim out to visit the pelicans.

GYM
Hotel Capitán Suizo works with Revive Wellness Center at Langosta Beach Club to offer guests access to a spacious, clean and air-conditioned fitness center which is located just 100 meters north of the hotel. You will find the gym as you take a scenic, 4-minute stroll along the beach toward Tamarindo. Guests of the hotel have full complimentary use of Revive’s Gym which features cardio equipment that includes a treadmill, upright bike, Total Body Arc Trainer, elliptical trainer and a Windrigger Rowing Machine. Strength training equipment includes a dual cable machine, Smith Machine, leg extension/curl machine, power tower, adjustable benches and free weights, as well as many other fitness accessories. There are also showers and lockers provided.
