Iluminar Surf House
Designed with both families and our community of surfers, yogi’s & seekers in mind, the transformation of our beloved Rancho Luz is nearly complete. This 2 bedroom/2 bath home sleeps 6 and offers a “mini version” of the original rancho on the second floor, alongside an abundance of open space reserved for sunsets & starry nights. Throughout the remodel, we were able to repurpose the teak beams of her magnificent cone and incorporate them throughout the build. The integrity of her sacred, geometrical space remains and is bursting with joy as she steps into her renewal. Families and intimate groups are welcome!

The “tipico” Costa Rican breakfast includes rice, beans, eggs

Direct Beach Access
Guests LOVE to meander through the 200M beach refuge on their way to the beach.
This forest is lush with native flora and fauna
of our zone and provides excellent shade during the dry season.

Complimentary Surf Boards
Always wanted to learn how to surf? Our board rack is stocked with different size foam boards from boogie boards & fun boards to long boards. Feel free to take them out and give it a try. If you are new to surfing, be sure to only go out at low tide where you can easily catch the long-rolling white-water waves.
Daily Maid Service
Although we are more of an Airbnb-style accommodation than a hotel, we still offer daily maid service. Our staff will come through once a day to freshen up your room while you are out playing on the beach. Sinai, Nancho & Yeimy are on-site from 8am-3pm each day and are happy to engage in a friendly Spanish chat.
Community Yoga
For an additional fee, the community at Norte Yoga, right across the street, offers a wide variety of daily, inspirational yoga & movement classes for all ages.
